another day!

It's just another day here in WY. BORING Day that is. I am not liking it here at all! There is nothing to do, it's cold and I've been here over 6 months and still don't know anyone! This time of year I'm usually starting my garden. It's so cold here you can't even go outside and enjoy it. Plus nothing really grows here because it's so danged cold and dry. Hell there aren't any trees here! I know I keep complaining about being here but hell that's all I have to do. lol

Gosh....

I can't believe it's been over a year since I have blogged! A lot of things have changed in the past year. Eric retired from the Navy in Sept after serving 24 years. He got a job in Gillette, WY working for a coal mine. We packed up all our things in Biloxi, MS and moved to WY where we bought our first house.

I started this a few days ago and something happened (can't remember now what it was ... lol) so I saved this to return to later. It's now Dec. 3rd.

My daughter stayed in Mississipi with her sorry ass boyfriend. I wished she would just pack up her things and come out here. I miss her terribly! Justin came out here to WY with us. He is currently living with us until he can get on his feet. He is saving to buy a truck right now. After he gets his truck he will be saving to move out.

I have decided not to go back to work. I am trying to keep myself busy. I am thinking of picking up knitting again. I will need a refresher course. I found a "teach yourself to knit" book at Wal-Mart.

I'm trying to get used to this place, but it's taking a LONG time! I HATE the cold!!! I have lived in the South for 18 yrs. and I'm freezing here!!!

Everyday I ask Jacob what he did in school today. Everyday he tells me he doesn't remember ... lol Yesterday I told him, "You just got off the bus how can you not remember?" He tells me he thinks he has a memory loss ... lol

I am bored as heck today! I should be cleaning the house but it's too damned hot to do anything! One of the kids turned the air off and it's freakin' hot in this house! It's going to take all day/night to cool this place down!

This place just makes me miserable. I will be so glad when we are outta here. Hopefully the next place we go to will be more exciting than here.

Guess I should go and cook dinner.

Where has the time gone?

I realized I hadn't updated my blog in quite some time but I didn't think it had been this long. I am still in dreadful Biloxi, MS. I really hate it here! There is nothing to do, unless you want to go to the casinos all the time. I am back at work now, which sucks but it's a job. The kids and I went to WA last month for my grandmother's 90th birthday. What a stressful few days! It was nice to go home and get away from here, but geezzzeee it was stressful trying to help my mom get things ready for the party. Oh, and everything had to be all about Brittany, hell it still does. Brittany finally broke up with Jason, well at least I think she did. Before we went on vacation he kicked her out and she was staying here some nights and some with her friend Jennifer. I haven't seen her now in over a week. Justin says she is staying with Jason, but I am not sure and he turned her phone off so I have no way to get in touch with her. Oh well, it's her life and I am tired of worrying about her all the time. Eric didn't make senior chief again this year. Next year is his last year to try and make it. I really hope he does so he can stay in the Navy for a couple more years. If not he will have to retire and then it looks like we will be moving to WY. I am not looking forward to that move at all! I really don't want to move there, but he has a job offer and I guess the money is good. Eric seems to think that money is what matters and money is what makes you happy. I don't agree, but of course he is a pig headed stubborn man and won't listen ... lol Guess I should get going. Hopefully I will remember to update a little better.
