So.. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I was coming home from work, got out of the van, got my bags and Eric's beer and proceeded to open the house door. When ever I come home from work Rascal, my hyper lil dog, gets all excited and jumps all over me. As I was stepping up the step to get in the door Rascal gets under my feet and I fall. Good thing I was carrying a 12 pack of beer because it broke my fall to where I wasn't flat on my face...lol Anyway, I fell pretty hard and hit my shin on the step up into the house. I was half in the door and half out..lol I was in so much pain! I went and got my pjammies (Jacob's word...lol) on and get a bag of ice and proceeded to watch the season finale of CSI Las Vegas that Eric recorded for me. All night my leg is killing me. My knee on my other leg hurts as well but not as bad. My leg swells but no bruising. A couple of days later I notice that my foot/ankle is all bruised. Very strange since I had not hurt my foot or ankle. I go on about my business while I am still in pain but not as bad as when it first happened. One night I come home from work, sit in the recliner to watch something that I had recorded and Rascal jumps on my leg. OMFG, he landed right on the spot where I hurt it. It sent shooting pain everywhere! Again I carry on about my business. Everytime I hit this spot it just kills me, plus the fact that I am not sleeping well because if I bump it while sleeping it wakes me up. I finally have had enough and figured by 3 or 4 weeks I shouldn't be in pain anymore so I go to the docs. She orders x-rays to check for a fracture. I have to go back in the morning for the results. If it isn't broken so is most likely going to do an ultra sound and see if there is a blood clot hiding under the muscle. I still have swelling and pain and she said that wasn't normal....no kidding doc?...lol I email my mom to let her know what is going on and when I get home I find an email from her telling me that the doc better find out soon what it is because if it is a blood clot I could have stroke! Good going mom now worry me to death! If I remember I will post the results tomorrow.
