Retirement ...

so here I am thinking that we are going to be retiring from the Navy next Sept. and I find out that nope we aren't. Eric's shore duty got 6 months added to it, so now it puts us leaving here in March of '08. Then he tells me he has put in an extention for 6 months after that, putting us at Aug '08. He really wants to make Senior Chief and this extention will give him 2 looks. If he makes it he will be able to stay in, if not, he will have to retire. I don't think he is ready to retire. He says he is but I know he isn't. I just don't want to stay here any longer. The more I stay here the more I hate it! If he makes E-8 I hope we go back to FL or even WA. If we get WA I will be closer to my mom! I won't go to VA. I have already told him that, so I hope it sticks in his wee little brain that I won't be going with him if he gets orders there! I don't know where I will go but not to VA!
